Qualification and Experience:
Must hold a Social Care or Nursing Degree.
Have a minimum three years managerial or supervisory experience.
Hold a managerial Qualification ( minimum requirement - level 6 ).
Must be registered with the relevant professional regulator body (where appropriate).
Experience
Pervious experience in a management position or Person in Charge.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the operational and admirative management of the service.
- Provide a high level of leadership to the team.
- Ensuring the highest professional standard by using evidence-based approach to manage service users' care .
- assist in developing, evaluating, leading, managing and implementing the service policy and procedures.
- Liaison with the multidisciplinary team.
- monitor the delivery of service through service audits and give professional advice.
- Ensure and promote service users' quality of life through person-centred care .
- Carry out risk assessment and ensure appropriate control is in place to meet clients' needs.
- Ensure that all HIQA standards are implemented within the service.
Salary
Up to 55,000 euro per year depending experience and qualification.
